英語をやろう♪

最近、英文解釈の重要性を認識した。おそ。なにやってんだ俺。詩文だから適当にフィーリングでマークしといて国語、日本史で稼ぎゃなんとかなるとおもってた。情けない。しかし英文解釈って楽しいな。英文和訳とは違うんだぜ。最終的にはシンクロするけど。英語だけでも国立クラスに入るべきだったと真剣に後悔。でも富田の構文と水野のベリベに出れてるからそれで満足としよう。でも東大英語か一橋英語は出てみたいな。

じゃあ英文の紹介。解釈してみてください♪

A ship in a harbor is safe, but that is not what a ship is built for.

答えは「港の中にいれば船は安全だが、そのために船が造られたのではない。」です。平たく言えば夢は大きく！ってことです。因みに出典は単語王の例文です。

調子に乗って第２問。

①Communication is far more than speech and writing.

②Most of us are unaware that we are communicating in many different ways even when we are not speaking.

③The same goes for other social animal species.

④We rarely learn about this mostly non-verbal human communication in school even though it is very important for effective interaction with others.

あぁ、打つのだけでつかれた。解答例は明日発表。直訳は簡単ですが、直訳しただけでは点にはならないそうです。ヒントははズバリ対比関係です。④と⑤に対比関係が隠れています。それを明確にしてみてください。すごく質の良い英文なのでじっくり味わって下さいな。
